A Week in the Coastal Studio

I spent a week working at a studio on the coast, borrowed from a friend who was away. The light there is different from Barcelona — harder, more insistent, coming off the water.
The week produced nothing that will become a finished work. But it loosened something, and I came back with a clearer sense of what the current series is about.
