Notes from the Studio

The studio in November has a particular quality of light — low, lateral, arriving through the north window and lying flat across whatever is on the worktable.
I have started a new series of small bronze studies, working from drawings made last spring. The casting process introduces its own decisions, and I am interested in staying close to that threshold between what I intended and what the metal chose.
